Dr. Michael Palmieri is a Long Island native who grew up in Dix Hills and is proud to serve patients at The Center for Cosmetic Dentistry in Smithtown, New York. He earned his dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2014.

He then completed his general practice residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he remained for an additional year as Chief Resident, receiving advanced training in cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Palmieri is passionate about providing dentistry that is not only beautiful, but also healthy, functional, and built to last. As a graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle, he completed extensive postgraduate training in restorative, implant, and esthetic dentistry. His Kois education reflects his commitment to comprehensive, evidence-based care and predictable long-term results. This advanced approach allows him to evaluate the complete picture — including smile design, bite function, tooth wear, gum health, and overall oral health — so patients receive treatment that is both conservative and comprehensive.
